I have extensive experience and training using CBT, brief interventions, DBT skills, and harm reduction. I've also received specific training in working with transgender and gender nonconforming clients.
Integrated Behavioral Health
There are many different types of integrated behavioral health within primary care centers. I have experience working and supervising Collaborative Care Management within primary care. The integrated program I currently work in is modeled after the University of Washington AIMS program.
Family Therapy
Families come in all shapes and sizes, each with their own unique rules and patterns of interactions. In graduate school, I was trained in Structural Family Therapy and used that exclusively with the clients I saw then. Since that time, I've also received training in Multisystemic Therapy and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. I've worked with families in all kinds of settings including in office, in their homes, and via telehealth.
Community Mental Health
The first seven years of my career were spent in community mental health. While there, I worked with children, adults, families, and those dealing with both mental health and substance use concerns.
